Description

Logistics Engineering Analyst Candidate will support the ER/MP UAS ILS Plans and Products Development Team Leader in executing logistics oversight responsibilities to influence system design, manage risk, and ensure that logistics tasks are completed and logistics products are developed for product improvements. The Logistics Engineering Analyst will have a strong technical and operational background and be able to interface and discuss logistics requirements with program office and prime contractor engineers during technical reviews (PDR, CDR, PRR, etc.), engineering change proposal staffing, and during participation on Configuration Control Boards (CCB). The qualified individual will have expert knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and documentation, Army regulations, 10 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements, Modification Work Order (MWO) process, Engineering Services contracts, Earned Value Management (EVM), Cost as an Independent Variable (CAIV), and be able to craft ILS assessments that highlight issues/shortfalls and influence execution of engineering projects in areas of documentation, training package and technical publications development, tools and test equipment determination, spares packages development, verification/test, planning for MWO fielding, and preparation of TUAS Field Notices (TFN ) and Modification Work Order Fielding Plans (MWOFP). Individual must also understand concepts for requirements engineering, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Condition Based Maintenance (CBM), Pit Stop Maintenance, Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I and Modernization Through Spares (MTS), and Portable Maintenance Aids (PMA) and be able to influence program engineers in consideration of these enablers during system design. Supports/participates in conferences, meetings, and assistance/inspection teams as required. Candidate must have at least 9 years of experience with 2 years of project or program management and/or first line supervisory experience and be able to conduct moderate travel. Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in a related field or significant equivalent experience. A Masters degree or significant post-graduate work is desired. Current DoD Secret clearance required Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
